Dawn Bonham has been an Training Associate with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma since 2015, drawing on a fifteen-year career in a variety of challenging learning environments for children, families, and college students. Graduating from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor degree in Sociology and Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice, she then completed a Master’s Degree of Science in Human Resources with an emphasis in Administration. Ms. Bonham has a wide and varied background in human development. Her background includes:

  • A Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Specialist since 1994.
  • A Certified Case Manager in Behavioral Health since 1996
  • A certified case worker for children and families who were found to be on the spectrum of autism.
  • A Certified Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Professional.
  • An Adjunct Professor at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in the Behavioral Sciences Department for approximately five years.
  • Ms. Bonham is a Certified Trainer, a Certified Wellness Coach, and recently got her Coaching/Instructor certification in The BrainStyles System®.

Ms. Bonham combines her experience and knowledge in psychology and Human Resource Administration, as well as experience in business to assist Choctaw participants in an enriched classroom experience.
Ms. Bonham has four children who range from the ages of 22 to 7. She lives in Durant with three of her children and her fiancé.
